Still struggling to get my head over Oje. Whilst he may turn out to be a success the stats suggest otherwise. The sheer number of wingers suggests one will go as others here suggest ie Whyte maybe on loan, but what does this mean for Mayembe?
Yes, I had forgotten about him. Don't think he had a number in the squad list put out last week. Possibly also needs to go on loan for game time.
Well the boy can certainly finish with both feet. Sometimes compilations can flatter, but this is quite impressive......................
More goals than we ever saw from Niasse, Masky's love child, Feeney and Eddie Johnson combined. He looks a bit nippy as well. I suspect it his ability to beat his full back and get good crosses into Moore will be his most useful attributes. Hope he turns out better than some previous Prem loan wingers.
Its suggested in the article that he can also play in the 10 role. Is he cover for Tomlin? Always useful to have players who can cover more than one position. Its why 'the knife' was in such demand. Hope the arrival of Ojo doesnt mean Mark Harris loses out.
Maybe not a spectacular headline, but more good news..................... https://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/news/curtis-nelson-signs-new-city-deal
It's always a gamble with young Premiership loanees, some workout and want to progress and understand that it's part of their learning curve, such as Tammy Abraham with us a few seasons ago, he worked hard and got his break after being with us. On the flip side, you get the players who think their big-time Charlies and above playing in the Championship, as we got with Ryan Kent from Liverpool, he was proper dog toffee....
I was as interested in his build up play. Would have liked to see a bit more of that. Saw him beat a few men and get a cross in. With Moore in the middle, I want plenty of that. Pace to burn to be fair. Some good goals but some questionable keeping. Hopefully he can do it for us. If Harris plays 4231 he could play any of the 3, especially in the middle if Tomlin is out.
I've already said that (Pack anyway) on their site............ I've got a feeling Flinty might play a part for us this season.
I havent a clue what the carrot crunchers are doing. Martin was bad enough. Theyve signed Brunt now. Are they a football club or a Residential Care Home?
On the cards for a while, but it looks like it's all but done................... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54100171
Hope that's a few £ in the coffer and with his & NM-L high wages of the books maybe 1 or 2 new players.
Sad to see him go but probably too expensive just to be on the bench. Glad for him though he's worthy of a bigger club than Brum. However, he'll be first choice there and certain of game time. I wish him well.
