Today is all about Last minute deals for other clubs rejects, But Adebayor is the reject of all rejects, If this goes ahead then all you can say is it's a panic signing. Think it's just the Sub-Standard QParse editor having a laugh.
To be fair, Adebayor generally plays really well in his first season at a club, before becoming less and less use. So ... a one year deal, or even one up to the January window might make sense. Seriously though, no thanks.
Apparently the Cyriac deal has hit a snag over the fee! Meanwhile Hal Robson-Kanu has been given permission to leave the Welsh squad while he sorts out his future .... Just saying
Latest from Sky News 17:16 MARTIN HEADING TO FULHAM Chris Martin has just left the Scotland team hotel with Fulham representatives to head for a medical ahead of a move from Derby. Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has identified Martin as a personal target and after losing out on another striker target in Asamoah Gyan, is keen to wrap up a deal.
So very late in the day that have to assume money was an issue. As per last post Derby obviously play hard ball. Hope though it's not because the Cyriac deal has fallen through because of the fee snag mentioned earlier and we can tie down both in the next 5 hours.
An aside really, but one of the casualties of the window is Zakaria Labyad. Sporting have terminated his contract. Presumably also, since nobody joined from them we will indeed now get our money.
Must admit bit disappointed the Cyriac deal didn't go through he looked decent, anyway we got the two strikers and Martin looks a good signing, can't be to unhappy with the window
Which means he's a free agent and can be signed for nothing outside of the transfer window. Is he still worth pursuing, or are we sufficiently stocked up now?
Another aside, he's brilliant in FM2016. A first choice pick for the team and helped us win the Championship in 2015/16 and then doing quite well in the premiership.
FM is my guide to footballers outside of the Prem, some of the players they had as having world class potential in previous games include; Tonton Zola Kim Kallstrom Mario Balotelli Davide Santon Mario Balotelli Alan Smith Michael Bridges Kennedy Bakircigou Although they have got a few right - Robben and Ibra spring to mind - based on my current game Holgate at Everton is going to be amazing, along with Amartey at Leicester, Gonçalo Guedes, Tiago Maia, Rubén Neves, Daniele Rugani and Donnarumma
Blimey. I can't keep up with the Fantasy stuff. How do you guys manage this lot? And who in the name of Himself does the DonnaMaria guy play for?
Some great names from past Championship Managers I would like to add Sigporsson from I think the 98/99 version
