Good post, I agree with most of it, but I think you have too many listed. At midfield or striker (or both), I think Wenger will go with one of our youth players.
We do not have a good young strikers at the club. Wenger will clearly go into the market to get a new one, he made his intentions clear on that position last season, and with him doubting Podoski's ability as a CF and Bendtner being Bendtner, that situation has not changed, one bit.
Akpom isn't ready. Afobe has faded. Bendtner is out of contract and will leave. Podolski isn't trusted / good enough as a centre forward. Theo is out for the rest of the season and possibly into next. There is no option but to buy.
Good young player, and if we recall him, I doubt Wenger will play him through the middle. His link up play is not good enough at the moment and is just not strong enough also for Betis and Olympiakos, he has normally been used as a wide forward in a front three. Maybe, someone that can cover for Walcott in the first six or so months of next season.
