    I said last week when Sinclair was mentioned that I am unsure about his attitude and motivations. What I would say is that he is now 25, a little older and maybe, just maybe the bad experience of the last two seasons may make him have a little think and get his attitude right. If he did that, he is quick, direct, used to going passed people and has played in a team that likes to pass and press. Maybe worth a gamble at 2.5m, but I hope his wages are sensible (in football terms :))

    When Sinclair left Swansea he was an exciting prospect with an eye on the England squad...strangely enough the grass isn't always greener on the other side with these big "Super Clubs". Take note a few of our present squad!
    For £2.5m I think he is worth a punt but it must be spelt out to him what is expected both on the pitch and off the pitch...he has to buy into the "Southampton Way"

    I bet we're not even in for him. It's just the same as every other recent transfer window where we've been linked apparently only because his brother's on our books.

    The way they have written that article is insane. He impressed this season for Saints so a club lower than us is going to make a massive £3m bid and it almost reads as if it is a dead cert to happen. lol. I can't see Fonte leaving for £3m even if we buy 2 more defenders that on paper 'are better than him'.

    So according to this one, Liverpool want Morgan too, as well as Dejan and Lallana!! What I find interesting is this bit:

    Brendan Rodgers has reportedly already open talks with Southampton over the sale of centre-back Lovren and is also interested in signing England international Adam Lallana.

    They make it sound as if Lovren is the one we are in talks about, whereas they are merely 'interested' in signing Lallana now!

    Lovren says that he has only read what is in the media. We have more midfielders than good CBs...definitely not one we would look to sell. I suspect they will be met with a firm no. At this time of the year, all teams have lists and are making enquiries...if rebuffed, they will go away. He's a great CB, but, for a team of Liverpool's stature, there will be others.

    So this Forte bid story, do you think it's likely to be nonsense, I can't see you finding £3m particularly attractive unless you're already looking to replace him?

    In all honesty you can Forte for 3m. Infact you can have him for 3 quid.

    Jose Fonte however, no you can't have him.

    I'd advise you google "Forte, Southampton FC" :)

    You're very welcome to have Jonno Forte for £3 million. It's a deal. No, you've said it now, you can't take it back!

    Jose Fonte, on the other hand, isn't for sale.
