Sure. There's plenty of reports in the media close to Ipswich that we've had scouts watching him since 2013.

 

And a lot of other players we've been watching for a long time that we will never sign.

Not saying we won't (though I doubt it), just that the fact we've watched him doesn't mean much considering the number of players we watch are probably enough to fill every team in the league's 25-man squad lists.

 

A Southampton scout watched me once, but I never heard anything.

According to the Daily Mail (i know, i know) we're interested in Caulker from Cardiff. I think he's a pretty decent player but depends on the price they're asking.

 

Not sure he's any better than what we have.

As I've said before, Caulker has been one of Cardiff's best players this season. He's probably at least on a par with Fonte right now and he's only 22. If he's available for say £5m, we'd be daft not to make an offer.

 

I haven't been watching, but it's a bit weird how everyone raves over Caulker (should be in England squad) and Marshall (best GK in the Prem??), but they've let in a ton of goals and most of them are really stupid. They'll probably get bought by someone, but it's a meh from me.

 

Agree on Caulker but Marshall has been outstanding this season. cardiff would have been down weeks ago if not for him.

 

Fair point. Rather have K.Schmeichel if we are going down the cheapish English-based route (sorry Lester).

 

Think they are around the same age 28/9 but I think Marshall is the better keeper.

 

This. Caulker's been at fault for a fair few goals this season (not as many as other's around him but still careless). Marshall is excellent

 

I can't recall a single goal that has resulted from Caulker making a mistake. Can you give examples of the "fair few" you're referring to?

 

So you remember all the goals Cardiff conceded?
