I'd be fine with it, because I'd be very confident that we'd have no problem replacing him. I don't consider him to be a key part of the team currently. He very well could be in the near future, but then again so could someone else.

I'd be fine with it, because I'd be very confident that we'd have no problem replacing him. I don't consider him to be a key part of the team currently. He very well could be in the near future, but then again so could someone else.
Would heavily depend on how much money we got for him, but even if we recouped a decent amount I'd still be a bit disappointed as I want to see him come good and fulfill his potential with Saints.
Shall I bother to look again for the article from about 2-3 days ago where it says he's not interested in leaving..? Or would that be too much of an anti-cimax..?

No, but let's not kid ourselves that it's not a possibility. It's like halfway through the season when we were worrying about the drop, and certain posters on here were saying to shut up about relegation because it's not going to happen. I don't want to get all negative, but you know, it could.
I don't think he will go. Can't see another PL club meeting our valuation of him. And what is there to suggest he wants to?
I saw a GMI post on Saintsweb where he claimed someone in a hotel told him Mrs Ramirez hates living in this country. So it's definitely time to panic!
She may dislike the country (though I suspect it's the weather), but, like so many partners, you know you have to stay where the job is. Ramirez will surely want to make an impact in the PL before going abroad again. Probably made up anyway.

You know what..? When it's winter, or it's damp and cold, or when it rains incessantly, in this country, I bloody well hate it too, and I wish I was living in the Mediterranean zone. So I can sympathise with her. Doesn't mean to say I'm leaving just yet.
For the sake of clarity I wasn't seriously suggesting Ramirez wants a move. It was GMI saying it, it was allegedly something he heard from an unnamed person in an unnamed hotel and it's not even Ramirez himself who supposedly doesn't like it here. Any one of those things would be reason enough to question it. Perhaps my sarcasm wasn't obvious enough.
Banning him from this forum was a decision as historic as D-Day. If it's possible I think he has got even worse since joining SaintsWeb, his anti-Ramirez agenda is so boring now. Gaston must have slept with his wife and slaughtered his pet puppies.
So I've heard from a forum poster, who heard from another forum poster, who heard from a guy in a hotel, who heard from an unknown source that Mrs. Ramirez doesn't like English life. Therefore Gaston Ramirez will be leaving us this summer.
