New signings I think, especially if they get Eriksen as well. Simply it comes down to not putting all your eggs in one basket though doesn't it? Bale could lose form, he could be injured, have personal problems etc... unlikely that will happen to all of Spurs new signings! Soldado is a top striker and he adds a lot, Lamela is about as a good a Bale replacement as they could have got and Paulinho looks the part as well.
He wasn't a completely unrealistic fantasy, only personal terms stopped him going to Norwich, which I'm certain we could have offered to him had we entered the race. http://www1.skysports.com/football/...y-alderweireld-has-rejected-a-move-to-norwich
Don Walcott (Theo's Dad) and Andrew Cowen told me, if you must know. Now, could you be so kind to point me to the forum rules where we have to name names and provide evidence for our posts?
Couldn't care less if someone finds value in my comments or not. I'm not here for to win a popularity contest (although I would win if there was one, because I'm a winner).
could be wrong, but I swear Jeremy Wilson, ex of the Echo and now the Telegraph has printed the same about the Walcott transfer in the past.
Might be a callous way to treat footballers but I've often thought that big clubs can and do reduce competition simply by buying up key players in other sides with less money. Baines and Fellaini could [almost] be put in that category. ManU don't need them, but it stops other clubs from acquiring them.
Oh I don't know TSS, ManU are desperate for some strength in midfield and Evra can't go on forever...
