That's exactly what I thought. Hence my surprise to see the bookies have us at 50/50 with spurs. On a separate note I know people love making the saint ______ threads but do we really need them? Wouldn't it make more sense to discuss all rumours and transfer gossip on one thread? A similar thing goes for the "team for __________" threads and match thread. Surely team selection and formation should be discussed on the match thread? All Im saying is its harder to keep up with what has/hasn't been said when you have several threads discussing the same/similar thing(s). To labour a point why did we need 3 threads on Rickie's England exploits? Im not suggesting it shouldn't have been discussed as much but why can't we have one thread where it is all said?
I'm with you on your viewpoint. But people do like starting new threads, and it would be churlish to stop all but the most obvious of them.

That's exactly why there's not a Saint X thread for every rumour. They're created when a rumour gets strong enough that there are loads of things about it to discuss, and therefore it would clog this thread and other rumours (like Fox potentially leaving) would be ignored. Similarly the Saint X threads reach a wider audience, as there are a lot of members who don't bother checking the often heavily convoluted rumours thread.
Why spurs are so into osvaldo may be defoe is on this out possible? At the end of the he stated he not interest coming here end off and just move on and change the record
