Yeah not just procedure, it's in the rules. Anyone else think this maybe points to us filling that number 11 slot soon?
I like Punch...he can change games, but have to admit I couldn't see him getting much game time. As a side note, Holloway been charged about his comments about the penalty.
Not sure how I feel about this. I think I'm biased by the fact he turned things around and showed a great deal of maturity, I always wanted him to have a good run. Maybe he knows MP doesn't rate him and wanted a loan move? For some reason I can't see us making another signing, I do worry about upsetting the balance of the team. Somebody tell me about Scott Sinclair? Is he that much better than what we have?
From what I have seen of him at Swansea he is better than Puncheon. If he got to the levels he was at Swansea he'll have a strong claim for a starting spot. Saying that we probably won't sign anyone else...
If you're asking if he is better than all of our players, then no he isn't, but he is better than our current best option as far as pacey widemen go, (i.e. Isgrove). I know it's not Pochettino's style to play with wingers, but having a plan B can't hurt.
You never know, Punch may have realised his playing time would be short and asked for that move. He's a South London boy through and through and if it turns out true, I'd wish him all the very best. Hope Mr Mells doens't get told off too badly for leaking it though....
Alex crook saying its a season long loan, so it's Likely to be a permanent transfer on a six month contract.
He's really pacey and a decent dribbler. If I remember correctly he's very similar to punch in that he cuts in from the wing onto his stronger foot as opposed to the traditional winger who'll run down the line and cross with his stronger foot.
Correct, he plays predominantly on the left and cuts in onto his right foot. Has been known to play up front as well and I'm sure he could play on the right if required.
