Bradley Wright-Phillips has signed for the New York Red Bulls, and will play alongside Thierry Henry! Have to say I didn't think I'd ever see the day.

 

Oww poor Fox. Leave 'im alone! You would have thought that with Richardson and Butterfield gone we might need an extra full back. As mentioned above shaw is young and needs to be protected, all it would take is one nasty tackle to Cyne and we're up s**t creek.

Chambers has looked good in Pre-season apparently and I rated when watching him in the youth last season. So we wouldn't really be 'up **** creek'.

 

I think we should renew it, with his pace he could be a real impact sub.

Need another CB - Toby Alderweireld plays RB and CB has all the atributes i keep going on about him! how do i contact Nicola to advise him we should sign this guy? only £7m -

 

I'd be all for making a bid, but he'd probably have more attractive suitors unfortunately.

Naughton's an odd one. I'm glad we're selling him but I can't help but feel there's more to come from him if he gets regular games. He's slow and ponderous on the ball which is very frustrating but he has decent pace and his passing and crossing are okay so I think it was confidence more than anything. £4mill would be about right for him, he did well at Norwich as a regular starter but there are question marks over him so it's hard to tell if he'll progress to be better than a good player in a bottom half team.

Only a friendly tonight but with only Gaston missing it was a reminder that we need another quality attacking threat or goals maybe hard to come by.

Hopefully we can tie up one of those big three names within the next week to help settle them in

Has been all week on Sky Bet, we have still had a bid accepted and he hasn't rejected yet. So Sky etc don't want to get stung.
