Just watched trailer. Looks good. What channel is it shown on or did you down load it?

I just joined Netflix and used their one month free (cancelled the account before the month ends)to get through all the series and catch up. It's back in August for the last few episodes and i'll be downloading them.

    1) I hope Gaston turns up this weekend...not worried, but mothers like to see their children safely at home so they know they are not up to mischief.

    2) Wanyama did say in an interview that he hoped to return one day and I knew it would come back to bite him. I think he loved it in Glasgow and meant that he would be back to visit again.

    3) What's happened to Ryan Dickson...no excuse to be unfit when trying to get a job. Wasn't he one of our emergency buys that never really worked out? Seems such a long time since League 1, I may have got that wrong.

Dickson broke his ankle (?) back in March. If he's only recently recovered (I don't know), then - coupled with little first team action over the past 24 months - that may explain why he's slightly out of shape, if indeed he is.

All it needs is for a L1 manager to take a chance on him, and before too long they won't be regretting it.

And your contact at Reuters would be right. This is, as Mikey suggested, a case of spinning a nothing story in order to give it credence. The writer will know the reasons full well - even knowing he's not there takes a modicum of research. Spinning the reason like that gives the article it's 'pull' factor.

Look at how we are all struggling on football threads to find something meaningful to say about football.

Journalists have lots of pages to fill everyday so I am not in the least bit surprised that they often resort to writing fiction.

Or perhaps you think they should be like us and fill the sports pages with music reviews, marital advice, etymology, promoting favourite films and TV shows and of course lost children?

They could try writing about cricket, athletics, or the Tour De France. But it seems the public have an insatiable thirst for "news" about football, even in the off season. So it seems we are to blame for provoking the press into releasing a torrent of drivel.

;) That's made me smile Godders. We learn something new every day and I had to look that word up. When I saw the meaning, I chuckled to myself. Don't know if you did that on purpose, but if you did, then very clever and funny.

Happy about this. If anyone needs a good, solid run at pre-season, it's our Gaston.

Doesn't look much like a man who is just calling in on his way to Milan.
