I know he takes shade from people on here sometimes, but I like that he is always well checked and secure in his information.

 

Pochettino on rumours: "That means agents want their players to join #SaintsFC. It shows we are an ambitious club wanting to go forward."

 

Billy Sharp just sent this to Richard Chaplow on Twitter:

Chaplow has totally removed the club from his Twitter bio, as has Sharp.

 

And Chaplow yesterday tweeted: "Whoever said things come in 3's was talking a load of bollocks"

Understandbly frustrated but this is football.

 

It must be hard being a footballer, the poor sods...

Could be that they've both got moves lined up and are basically gone. That, or they've both made a fuss and Poch has told them not to bother turning up any more.

 

Interesting isn't it? It's marginally delusional that Chappers and Billy, great servants though they've been to the club, might consider themselves good enough to command regular Premier League spots with the club now. I'm all for confidence in sports stars, but at what point to people begin to realise their level I wonder? This smacks a little of bitterness, but I'm not entirely sure what they were expecting?

 

I really have little sympathy for Sharp and Chaplow. They're getting good wages for sitting on their arses all day.

 

For their personal tragedies, yeah I do.

It's a shame that Sharp may feel 'used' and that he never got a chance, but that's football.

I'll remember Sharp during that run-in, but not fussed by Chaplow.

One of those who is popular for running about a bit and looking busy, but is found to be lacking technically.

Chaplow has come across as a bit if a berk a coupe of times.

Disappointing to see those sort of comments in the public domain.

 

I think Sharp has a right to feel way more aggrieved.

Chaplow definitely not good enough but I feel Sharp deserved a chance.

 

I would be more worried if they were a pair of international superstars feeling hard done by by our club. Thanks for the service guy's but your just not good enough now for our dream.

 

I admit, I forgot about that. Of course I have sympathies with them for that.

 

I'm willing to give Chaplow a pass; after the personal trauma, the cold business that is football probably seems like a slap in the face at the moment, even if it's ultimately best for both parties. Hope he finds a new home in short order.

 

Have to be honest, if we still hold their registrations and they've been told not to show up for training that's not really on is it? If they are training with the U21s when they get back together (whenever that may be) fair enough I suppose, we'll have to wait and see.

 

At the very least, they should be training to keep up fitness levels ... that's probably half the problem.

 

Maybe their frustrations stem at how the club handled telling them they're aren't needed. Much like Adkins who wasn't allowed to say goodbye to the squad when he was sacked. Surely they must realise that their futures lie elsewhere.

 

The U21s are already back, so this group of players appear to be told to stay away. Very unfair.
