    When you consider how much you earn by staying in the PL, the price is laughable for our player of the season. Spider is worth more to us than anyone else would pay. (P.S. rubbish rumour).

    You only get £7m for taking part in the group stages and they haven't even qualified for those yet, do you really think they will spend double that on one player? Besides, it would take much more than that for us to sell him.

    I think you get a pretty sizeable sum for finishing 4th in La Liga as well, and if they sell Illaramendi they'll presumably get quite a lot for him. Still don't believe this rumour though.

    €1m for finishing 4th. Obviously they get more TV money from the CL as well but they are not in a position to buy Schneiderlin.
