As far as the forums go, I've been impressed with the Liverpool fans, and in particular their reaction to the defeat. Many are offering credit to City rather than claiming an off day. I think many of us are tainted in our view by the local inadequates that latch on to Liverpool.
Chill out mate most of us have said that we don't mind real Liverpool fans, just hate the hangers on from Hull/Leeds etc. that inexplicably support Liverpool. Also, I used to really like Liverpool as a club but recently, especially in regard to the Suarez fiasco I feel that the club has handled itself in an extremely embarrasing manner. Regarding today I thought your support was poor, and the mass evacuation after the 3rd was shocking

To be fair all the Liverpool fans I was talking to on the train back to Huddersfield were very complimentary and gave us credit. Liverpool fans born and bred in Hull are the ones people on here hate. The distinction with 'real' Liverpool fans get blurred far too often.
