I knew something was up, because I saw his old mate Syd trying to get in the gateway. Obviously I let him in. He used to be the supermod in the early days, until he went and set up his own site. I know him and Dave were good mates.

Yeah he did. I've left a couple of messages on threads there, directing them to the Norwich board, his team.
My dark sense of humour
There’s been a few gooduns left us recently.
Billy, Grandpops and Burly from one single board.
Others have disappeared.
Brings it home, that we all only have a limited time on this Earth. The first one I remember passing away from our community was BrixtonR on the QPR board, that must have been six years ago now.
That’s why I think having kids is so great, the older you get the more you see what all the effort has been for, and how Much you’ve achieved. It’s all good having a top score on Fortnite and couple of cadet medals but not all of us can achieve that level of greatness.
Lovely just being able to see my grandkid again, all excited knowing I'd bought him a present, just because I can. Have to build their memories for them, we ain't around long enough. So much more different to being a grandparent than it is a parent. Older, wiser and kinder.

As you know i met him, he used to travel up north to meet his old mate Syd.
There was a small clan, myself, syd, dave (rip) jerry the jinx, billy (rip).
We are all gonna go the same way. I'm just glad i met them in the first place....
It's what makes me laugh sometimes about all the bickerings on here...Folks spend years as a mear shadow, just typed words....
I've met many off the old Sunderland board, even the well hard big man known as Smug, who wanted to kill me
But hardly said a word as myself and another poster just walked into the pub they were in...
