The hoo doo returns, ironically they score from a classic Forest style counter attack from the 70's
Anything but a defeat would have been fine, FFS....

Where would we be without Steve Lansdown
I do question dels selection and tactics today
Why play Carey when Wilson is clearly the better option now
Why play foster at RM when there are better options, woolford shouldn't be in the team all together and brining pitman on when were loosing with 60 seconds on the clock? It doesn't make sense to me!
I trust you del but ffs pick our best team
A very good question but it would also depend on who owned the club if Lansdown didnt and whether we'd be in the Conference or the Premier League. We'll never know.
With his massive fortune (which gets bigger by the year by the way) I just think he could spend more on the club or sell it to someone who REALLY wants to invest.
I'm frankly fed up with other teams doing their transfer business as soon as the previous season finishes and then having the luxury of a settled squad through all of the pre season games in order to hit the ground running on day 1 of the league season. We just don't do that and year in year out it shows.
Investment is far more than loading us with a bunch of players on high wages. It can be argued that Lansdown has done a lot for us already, but made the wrong move in trying to move us to a new stadium as it's still burning a hole in his pocket for little to no return.
So far, McInnes has been the best investment the club has made in a long time. We have a young manager with a lot to prove and lots of potential. However, there are still many things the club could invest in that would improve the club, namely:
- The South West's equivalent to La Masia. For most Football League teams academies are huge money sinks, but if we were to up our game and build a brand new academy similarly to the one being built by Man City we'll secure our position in football for many years.
- Ditch the crappy Football League websites and get one built locally. Outside of London, Bristol has the best agencies in the country and again by following the model being set by Man City the club will both gain recognition and will interact better with its fans. Lansdown should know this, because Hargreaves Lansdown hires Web Developers heavily from the local area.
- If we're going to build this bloody stadium then the club needs to be more vocal about what's going on and the key dates for any decisions. Until it's resolved, for better or worse, it will always be a dark cloud above the club and no success on the pitch is going to get rid of it.
An academy would cost a fair amount of money, but would repay itself over time. The rest is still chump change for a club the size of Bristol City and would do a lot more to change the perception of this club.
