None of that midfield 3 are particularly blessed with pace - Kroos especially. That said, they won't rely on that anyway. There's also Shaqiri for the wide role.
why do you guys think bayern are so bad or something. guardiola won't herald a revolution, just an evolution there. their midfield 3 are simply classic midfielders and are all passers and also all rounders. for me ribery would be the one under most pressure, not robben up front if anyone comes in and really they have an awesome keeper and quite decent defense to boot. martinez for me is the very best out there, simply awesome player. kroos is quite tasty and schewinsteiger is the heart of their line up and a leader. I fancy bayern for the CL this year cos they've the experience of heartbreak now.
I meant pace up front. Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta won't be winning many foot races either! It's all speculation, and like MITO says Bayern are unlikely to go nuts chasing every player under the sun. Tho' they did splash a lot on Martinez, and still have plenty in the bank. I doubt they'd have attracted Guardiola without promising him the funds to compete for at least two or three top players, and I think the wide forwards would be the ones most likely to be replaced given how solid they are at the back and the quality they have in the middle of the park.
martinez was a no risk buy IMO. brilliance bought at a price. we all know thats a good buy. I think honestly they do have cash cos they are well run but they won't over pay not inflate wages and gaurdiola apparently turned down higher personal wages and promised of unlimited funds at chav central and noisy neighbour alley. Bayern will only buy one or two and will win the CL this year.....
