My point isn't that Ronaldo is a diver, its that a former referee that officiated against a renowned diver tutored by Ferguson then uses Ferguson's Suarez quote as some kind of moralistic crusade for today's referees to follow.

Suarez brings everything on himself with the way he acts. He can have no complaints. I don't think there is an effort to get him out of the English game, people just want him to stop being the biggest cheat/ moaner in football.

Yeah, he's far worse than some of the trash we've had and still have in the premership, even Barton didn't raise this much of a sustained campaign. it seems you can be a decent sort off the field and make an odd dive and you're evil but you can go from leaving your wife in hte hospital and off to shag your brothers wife and can still be considered of better character or smash up a team mate or ghb an opponent Thatcher style or make nasty tackles consistently like ginger. Does it not bother you people that you have to compare Suarez with several other players to make him seem normal? Young, Bale etc = diving (we will leave Gerard out of it because he is one of your own), Terry = racism, Cantona, Huth = violent conduct (don`t forget Suarez bite), Crouch = handball, the list goes on. The reason Suarez is so hated is because he manages to combine all the bad attributes of other players in one small detestable person!
