I don't expect them to like each other, but that's a pretty poor excuse not to shake before the match. The handshake ism't about liking each other, it's about respecting each other and the game. Andyour club - all this has done is ensure the incident drags on much longer and he gdts booed by yet more crowds.
Does this also apply to Rio? Surely by the same logic he should forget about his dislike towards Suarez and accept his handshake. So Rio has apparently hurt the club in some way?
I'm never going to understand why people make such a fuss about refusing to shake someone's hand anyway. It's just a completely pointless formality so I really fail to see what the big deal is. "He could have caused a riot." - well he caused nothing whatsoever, other than that people are talking about an irrelevant non-incident rather than big Premier League game between Manchester United and Liverpool. But then that's their choice not Suarez's.
