@Sisu - your not in a category with those clubs buddy - in the last decade all of those clubs + Arsenal have won a league title - your little club hasn't. Other than your CL Trophy Liverpool havent won anything worth while for a long time. In the last 20 years you just haven't been as large of a club as you lot seem to think you are.

@Some other liverpool fana coupleof pages ago who called me deluded for saying Arsenal have been a bigger club than Liverpool in recent history - go do some research on the two clubs and what has been won by bother over the last 10-20 years and then come back and say im deluded. On top of being more successful, we have a better stadium, manager, players, global fanbase and just about any other measure of a club you can imagine!

No one apart from Liverpool fans and English players give a toss about their history. No one. If they joined Spurs in the race to sign Soldado right now, he'd easily opt for Tottenham.

    Agree.

I last went to Anfield in 1988 and the atmosphere was electric, I've no idea what it's like there nowdays. Same with Highbury, North Bank was always rocking, especially against Liverpool, Spurs, Utd, West Ham, Forest etc. I've only been to Emirates a handful of times because I now live in country bumpkin land, but when I've been the atmosphere has been top notch - A 5-2 spanking of the spuds helps I suppose though <ok>

When did Arsenal's drought begin? And when did Liverpool win that FA Cup and the Champions League?

I know PISKIE that article cracked me up - I wasthinking - if we need to buy a few top quality players to be at the top and we are signing Siuarez surely thats a big step in the right direction???

These ex-Liverpool players are all living in the past - there is not a single player in the prem who would tell you Liverpool are a bigger club than Arsenal and given the choice of who to play for the vast vast majority would choose Arsenal.

Nah mate you got a poor team that desperately needs a reapir job. A management team who can't commit to investing and you are just not as famous globally as LFC. In fact you're just third tier - and that's in London!

So why do we have more fans worldwide tha you do? Why are we in CL and you're struggling in Europa. Why are we the 4th most valuable team in the world?

Sorry, but that was before our drought started, so do some research before making silly comments.

You see the thing is. Our current squad has a chance at the minor cups, when we get Suarez from you we can be title contenders and be in the hunt for CL. When you lose Suarez you'l be scrapping with the likes of Fulham and Stoke in mid-able.

You don't have more fans wordlwide. Please identify the source of that claim. You may achieve a higher retail income but that does not amount to a fanbase.

Do you not look at the real-estate values in London? Your stadium value is grossly inflated in comparison to clubs outside of the capital and therefore enters a major element of skrewness into the valuation. Nobody is trying to claim that Arsenal have not been a model of a well-run club but just not as specttacularly successful as you would like to think.

The only reason that Liverpool appear as having a massive fan base is because of the delusion. Every where you go on the Internet, any forum, any sports website, any media website, all dominated by vocal Liverpool fans, look at this Arsenal board, there's been a huge infestation of cockroaches for last few days. And it transitions into the real world too. Liverpool fans are just very stupid and gullible, but they're a minority that makes a lot of noise, like the BNP.
