You were almost there with your first sentence then You kept typing. The rest of what you state regarding "types" is a mish mash of racial theories largely used ironically by racists and racialist. Those theories actually espouse 5 genetic subdivisions of "homo sapien". You then get back on track when you claim we are all the same genetically. 99.98 the same. Overall it comes across as confused.

Again you are contradictory & confused in your theories on cultural divisions. You start off with them existing then swap to a proclamation that we "left the idea of tribes behind in modern times" I find this amusing on a football site that relies on tribalism to succeed.

It also explains your reluctance to accept xenophobia as an equal to racial discrimination. In your head "countries don't exist" the Olympics for example must be mystifying to you in its formalised tribalism.

You do realise that "tribalism" has accounted for pretty much every genocide in "modern times" a fair few of those were in black African countries and between countries; including some glaring examples of racism in recent years. It's why I always laugh when I hear "black on black" can't be racism. Tell that to the amputees & dead of some of Africa's more recent victims and of course more historically the genocides committed by the Japanese on the Chinese in the name of racial purity. Not a white man in sight....

we can be very tribal yes but we are not tribal people. our notion of community has been all but lost.

I dont think I states it was a positive thing or a negative thing that tribal cultures and communities had been lost either.

I was simply stating that the differences in humans is cultural not genetic. I then said in modern times we have moved away from the idea of tribes and community. I should of continued to explain I was referring to our shrinking of the world. not literally of course. of course we still have elements of tribalism and essentially we are a community though a massive one. some places do still have much more of a community feel but its not quite the same. there is no need to stick together in the modern world so many dont. we can simply catch up at another time.
