Anything to piss off dipper fans is a good thing ok> You would have expected the Liverpool board to have put a clause in, to get extra £££££ if his ban was reduced, but I doubt they are intelligent enough to do that.
But intelligent enough to raise the release clause by £35m and not accept less because of the ban. Excellent business.
More bemused that pissed off. Makes no difference to me now whether the ban is completely rescinded and he is given a knighthood- or the ban stays or is lengthened. He's someone else's player- and barring getting drawn with Barcelona in the European Championship- we're not likely to encounter him for a long time.
