I think you will find Drogba was villified by the Chelsea fans for his diving and he largely cut it out.

He certainly went down easy a lot but never under no contact. Suarez as well as being a serial diver, is a cheat of the highest order, has no morals on the pitch and is generally a nasty piece of work. Come back when Drogba has been banned for biting an opponent or cost Ghana a world cup semi final place for deliberate hand ball on the line...and then had the lack of class to celebrate the subsequent missed pen.

I am not a "mouser" as you so quaintly put it but I can see that Suarez is by far and away the best player in the EPL. He has tended to dive a wee bit in the past but nothing compared to Drogba who is an absolute disgrace to himself and his family.

Ony Messi and Ronaldo are better than Suarez at the moment.

 

What did people expect Suarez to do against Mansfield? Not score? It was instinctive and plenty of other players have done it down the years. I remember a lot of Arsenal fans and English football fans in general laughing when Henry did something similar against the Irish. I guess the difference is that Henry is seen as a nice bloke while Surez is your usual cheating South American.

What I like about Suarez is that he gives his all in every game and is a real team player. I think he is a fantastic talent and will more than likely end up somewhere like Barcelona.

He is a really down to earth guy who just loves his football and that's what I love about him.

 

If Suarez is really sorry about what he did he will contact Mansfield Town and get the names and addressess of every person in the town who was either at the game or watching it on TV. He'll then write to them and see if they are affected by the new rules on Child Benefit. if they are he should pay the shortfall for a year to compensate for their loss and the distress that he caused them all on Sunday.
