Arsenal and Chelsea in particular play more of a 4-2-3-1. We kind of go full out 4-3-3 and leaves us stupidly open at times. I do agree though, Rodgers comes out with stuff that sounds good in his head, but is ridiculous in reality.
You seem to be missing a small point here...we are laughing our tits off! He comes out with lots of bollox, the difference is we don't really care because its just that, bollox

But Tobes, Fergie does come out with crap all the time to divert attention away from his players at the times he wants; its just a more aggressive ranty kind of bollox. Most see through it to the motives though. I'll give BR the doubt and say that his enthusiasm as a young manager will turn into a tool to continue to wind people up as he gets older & wiser. Or he's just a guy that's happy to talk bollox. I'll not hold it against him. Rubbish teams & performances after his "incremental development period" THAT I'll hold against him

Isn't it fun. There are no premiership managers who you could really consider as having soaring intellects or be considered as as proven strategists - tacticians maybe but strategists never! I expected he would be playing right of a front 3 where he did well for chelsea. I think he's good enough and scores enough goals in that position. Dont see him leading the line for us. Surely if Rodgers wanted to change Suarez's position and find somebody to lead the line he needs to sign somebody who is experienced and a proven goalscorer. I predict he'll play through the middle a couple of times fail to impress and be back to playing on the right with Suarez through the middle.
