If you read it again, MR Man United, you'll see we're saying the same thing. I guess that comprehension isn't your top strength.
Let's be honest, you were being a smart arse and made a bit of a tit of yourself. Stick to being a grumpy old sod, you're better at that!
Reverse winger, or inside-out winger, has been around for ages http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/blog/2010/mar/24/the-question-inside-out-wingers
That article never mentions 'reverse winger' which is what I said was the phrase that no knacker has ever used.................aside from Brendan.
First thought - why change a successful formula, especially to accommodate an unproved and inconsistent player like Sturridge. This says as much about Sturridge's limitations as a forward as it does about Suarez's versatility. Really hope this doesn't lead to a drop off in form for Suarez, was saying last night that he can't be expected to carry on all season at the level he's at (alright let's hope he can!) and there will be a dip at some point but if Sturridge is the cause, aarrgggh! I'm not convinced by him at all and hate to think that trying to establish him in the team will have a detrimental effect on the progress and balancing of our play.
I do agree with this, but I think Suarez being a bit deeper will get him on the ball more and we know Suarez wants to get in the box, can't be a bad thing? I will need to see how the tweak is, is it radical or is it just a slight switch.
Fairly sure I don't care if our Brendan wants to call it "the kessel run". If it all works out in the end I'm fairly sure the numptys will stop focussing on his vocabulary. If not, then at least we've had some entertainment in the mean time. The depth of feeling held by some over what the man says still leaves me to believe Brendan has had his leg over with a few wives or mums.
If Fergie or Moyes came out with the same tripe, you'd be laughing your tits off. It's not the vocabulary, it's the fact that he feels the need to over complicate what in essence is very simple, with the aim of making it out to be different to the norm. In reality you play 4-3-3, same as Arsenal & Chelsea do every week & United do on occasion.
