    So did Suarez...

If we are going to be negative and decide nobody good is going to join us then we might as well just sign Stewart Downing back and stop thinking of the champions league again.

Think the money would be better spent on truly WC center back (Hummels will do nicely) and a new RB would be a bonus a Johnson is dogshit! (or LB and move flanno across)

As for up top, already in place:

    Sturidge
    Lallana Ford Sterling

With back up from the likes of Lambert, Borini??, Allen and a new signing (young Belgian lad maybe)

Not strong enough to compete at the business end of the PL and CL. Plus coutinho needs to up his consistency and stamina. We still need some strong signings up front. We were wafer thin last year even with suarez

Thats not what I said. I don't think Reus is a realistic target and can't see it happening, thats not to say I wouldn't want him. I want us to get a ready made replacement for Suarez, its vital if we want CL again next year.

We can all name player who we'd want to see the club going after, doesn't mean it'll happen. I want Messi to play for Liverpool, its not going to happen though. But do we want to spend all the money on one player for strengthen the whole squad, Reus would cost pretty much all the money due to the fact Dortmund don't need to sell and the player has no interest in leaving.

Don't think Suarez has ever really said he wants to stay with us. Saying he's happy to stay and wanting to stay are two different things, plus we've always known that if Real or Barca came knocking he'd be gone.

Reus ain't messi, lad. Reus is on half the wages Suarez is, or third of messi's, and demands half or a third of their transfer fees respectively. Plus Dortmund does tend to sell their better players if the offer is good enough.

We offered £20m for Lovren and will get over £70m for Suarez, adding to over £90m. We can get both.

He obviously needs to pick the right side (probably sadly United) but he can't stay there more than another two seasons. He should stay this year don't get me wrong.

Arsene Wenger would raise him better.

he should consider abroad. The England team needs more players abroad.

“When you extend your contract, you extend it because you want to stay here for the future,” said Suárez. “I signed not only for two-and-a-half more years, but I signed for a long time to stay here and I am so happy."

Yeah, definitely didn't say he wanted to stay.

I also don't understand how Messi is in anyway relevant to Reus. Barcelona haven't sold a star player for years, probably since Figo? They only get rid of players if they are surplus to requirements or over the hill (Villa, Henry, Ronaldinho, Deco etc). Dortmund have a history of selling their star players and have sold Sahin, Gotze, Lewandowski & Kagawa all in the last couple of years.

Do you have any idea who Markovic is other than one of the top talents in all of Europe? Have you seen him play? He'd be similar to our Hazard in a few years.

Agreed about Origi though. Barely anyone knew him before that goal. Too early to base the future on him.

I was saying that its easy to just pick a player at random that you'd want at the Club.

Has there been any interest from us in Reus?

As for Suarez, he's a slippery bugger that frankly lies in statements.

Pick a player at random?? On the contrary, Origi is random. Reus is a well-thought out actual replacement... as far as a genius' exit may allow for replacement.

Suarez a slippery bugger who lies?? So do all of them.

3 months earlier he'd gone to the press saying he wanted to f**k off, he was training with your stiffs and would have gone to Arsenal if the wording of his release clause wasn't proven to be worthless.

Yeah he was fulfilling his lifetimes ambition when he signed that double your money £200k per week contract and he's shown his massive loyalty since by dropping his kecks the moment Barca showed an interest....

    Deluded as f**k

Wasn't Kroos's future in doubt recently? If he's surplus at Bayern then we might been in with a shout if we make them a very good offer.

Luis Muriel? He was highly rated at the start of last season but no idea if he's made any considerable progress.

Then there's the players who have already been touted, Sanchez, Shaqiri etc., think Shaqiri is most plausible and would love at Liverpool. Then there's players who wouldn't necessarily replace Suarez but could be made available due to funds received, such as Koke (won't happen due to Lallana).

As for CF's, there's not too many top class strikers available.. Falcoa, Rodriguez, Balotelli, Jovetic, Pjanic... Any of them maybe? Falcao and Rodriguez being the most unlikely choices out of the group.

    Adebayor?

but really I think all you need is someone on the level of Loic Remy and BR's man management will bring out that extra 20% in him...and Lallana to feed him the through balls.....I think its more important for a better 'team' to keep the likes of Sturridge and Sterling.....you cant replace Suarez with anyone in reality...anyone worthy of that kind of impact is already at Madrid,Barca or Bayern..playing week in week out.

Higuain maybe.....and throw in Reina as a make weight.

Rodriguez isn't a CF and neither is Pjanic. Both would be quality players but no chance of us getting the former. Pjanic possibly though. Good season with Roma and still young. Only problem is they also have CL football so can't offer him that above what he has now.

Can't see City selling us Jovetic now he's coming back to full fitness but could be an interesting signing.
