Then please explain what "similar offer" could be made since over Christmas you have 2 home games against the ****test team in the league and the team with the ****test form in the league? Given the massive difference in oppositions (they will in fact be perfectly opposite if Chelsea win today given that we can't play against ourselves) how about you offer to not post again until the New Year if we get more points over Christmas than you? You can't possibly think there's any risk in that?
This really is taking your United obssesion a bit far Tobes The original point actually was the one I made which was that it was a good time to play them. That of course was a relative statement, relative to playing United at a time when they are flying (which is their usual form over the last two decades). If you think listing all those games meant they were on good form that's up to you but quite simply United haven't been at their best all season and after two scrappy draws followed by two home defeats (preceded by defeats to us, West Brom and City)I'd suggest they were in a dip of form if nothing else. So....a good time to play them then
Fine win? You were doing everything possible to downplay our win. And the point was in your post you were implying that drawing 2-2 at Spurs was a good result, what else were you trying to do? You listed those 2 results as proof that Man Utd were on a good run before playing you.
