JT just been found guilty of racism and has only got a 4 game ban and 220k fine, and he is allowed to appeal. Feel sorry for Suarez at this moment in time.

And who is going to fine the FA for being racist in giving out a harsher punishment to Suarez for no other reason than not being English? There was a reasonable doubt with the Suarez case due to the lack of video evidence. Terry's got off extremely well and yet he spits his dummy out and retires from international football.

obviously the only evidence the fa had on suarez was evra and a video of a pinch. one terry they had him doing it clearly on camera.
The Fa gave suarez 8 matches but a smaller fine as they said purely on evra's word that it was repeated abuse.
the size of the fine given to terry is rather interesting which says to me that they are seeking to balance the two cases... why would terry's fine be so much bigger when his suspension is less?
IMO terry deserved only 4 matches as he did clearly, unequivicably break the FA's rules...... here's the think peopel like mellor and others forget... John terry was found not guilty by the courts... of a specific CRIMINAL CHARGE. thats fine.. thats due process...... but if we were to go equate for example shelvey's tackle on evans to assault then clealry shevely would be found not guilt yet he gets a ban for violent conduct. In short terry is guilty of breakign the FA's rule, not the crimal statue as they are spearate things.

I knew it was going to be 4 games have said it in the past. If you go off the charge for Suarez it was 4 games doubled because he said it more then once in there opinion. It was laid out when Suarez was charged that Terry would only get 4 at the most. Its 2 games for abusing a player and an extra 2 for it being racial.
If Terry had punched Ferd. Or Suarez had punched Evra the prescribed ban would have been 3 matches.

I don't think you can take the fine amount into consideration, it is only two weeks wages. Maybe that's what they took from Suarez too.

The fa are all corrupt scum and need to be disbanded. Its not bad enough that they have David Gill on the fa board getting charity points for United every season but this ruling on Terry has shown everyone how English players get away with murder in the league. There is one huge difference in the eyes of the corrupt FA. Terry is a former England captain, and Suarez is a latin American ''Dago''. Seriously chimpanzees would do a better job than these bunch of nitwits. We all saw how they got Rooneys three match suspension reduced to two games, because it suited them to appeal. It didn't do them much good, as they did better without Rooney than they did with Rooney. Rooney did his usual disappearing act in international tournaments.
suarez is on 100k per week + he fot 40k fine... terry is on 150k per week + he got 200k per week.. sorry but it doens't add up.

I think Terry's punishment is about right. We all knew the Suarez one was Draconian and unjust but when we said anything we were just being whingeing scousers again.
I said at the time the FA had set a precedent they couldn't possibly maintain and they'd be made to look even more stupid because of it, but the Suarez verdict was just plain wrong and there's no point in perpetuating a mistake.
If they had any morals they'd own up to the mistake but that'd just open up yet another can of worms so the best we can hope for is that others who accused us of playing the victim might just realise we were justified.
