Would you call a black man in newcastle a negro? no I dont think you would, it is not allowed. suarez is in THIS country, he commited a crime simple.

Crime is defined by the law of where the crime was committed, regardless of the person commiting it. Suarez may still not be guilty, but I think he has virtually admitted it

Even if he was rascist without wantin to sound all 'sepp blatter' why not just man up and get on with it? I've got a black mate that plays in the team as me and a few weeks ago he was gettin abuse from the sidelines from a member of the opposition team, he just shrugged it off and after had a laugh about it cos he knew it was just to try and wind him up

This is a little silly. A black person with a father out of wedlock is factually a black bastard. There's a lot more to language than words. There's body language, facial expression, tone of voice etc.

Suarez is a racist **** and should be globally banned for 6 months and fined heavily. There's no room for racism in football or anywhere else.

 

Sorry but these calls for bans are insane. Aside from being completely disproportionate to the crime it sends the message to racists that they can break a black player's legs and get less punishment than they would for murmuring an insult.

 

Unfortunatly there is some proof to these allegations and a ban will happen if thats the case

 

In the same way that an example needs to be made of people making homophobic comments and so on, nothing will get better until a big global example is made.
Same reason why Tevez should have been banned from football for a while.

And yes, harsher punishments for dangerous tackles are needed too; I recall some Belgian player being banned for 10 months in his own country, now if only FIFA would do their jobs

 

1 Match ban, a week's wages docked by the club and Suarez making a public apology (not neccessarily to Evra but for unprofessional behaviour, letting down the fans etc.)

If the standard practice is '3 match ban' or whatever it just becomes part of the game. Being made to make a public apology sets a better example for younger fans otherwise it's just, "I'm going to call him a ****** and have a month off". Players must take more responsibility rather than just being dropped.

Repeat offenses are a different matter but as this is the first reported time, he should be given a chance to 'learn from his mistakes'. It will send a better message to kids.

No I wouldn't call a black man a negro in newcastle, i'd say he was black though. So how is it acceptable to call a man a ginger bastard then? Or a little ****? Or a fat bastard? The end of the day they're all insults about appearance which can be taken personally and cause offence. No it doesn't make it ok but does it make him a rascist? It may have and in my opinion probably will have been said to get a rise out of evra and try to put him off his game, not nice, certainly not right, but it most definately happens.
just to say am in no way tryin to defend what suarez has (allegedly) done, just feel that in this country people are way too touchy on the subject of racism especially when it's this way round, not so much when the boots on the other foot. Also it seems to be more white people than black kick up a fuss about it

 

I couldn't give a flying **** if Suarez made a slanderous remark to Evra... Evra is Black, Suarez is Hispanic and Kuyt is a thorough bred Aryan... doesn't mean a thing.

Not genius, just simple... I come from the biggest family I have known... plenty of nations and races. It's bollocks. Ethnic people don't look at the everyday English person as a man/woman they, to put it simply. See a white man not a man. The realms of political (in)correctness only applies to those of non Caucasian complexion. It is not deemed racist if abuse or violence is aimed towards white people and why is that? don't I belong to a race? it's hypocritical bullsheisse nothing more nothing less.
