Liverpool won everything playing a different style to City and Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, etc are looking pretty good playing different styles too. It's almost like there are different ways to play football and so long as you're good at what you do you can win.
He may well want to change things if the squad is littered with world class players at some point. Things always change and he says he's always looking at ways to adapt. So on that point I agree, Eddie will adapt, but by choice. Your initial point was to effectively blame his style for our injury crisis. Maybe, we'll never know for sure, but some of them were freak injuries and some were existing, long-standing injuries. So he's also had a bit of bad luck too. Bottom line is, whatever he's been doing it's far exceeded where I thought we be, so more of the same please.
I have a feeling this thread will become fruitful over the coming weeks and even years. I would however like to add I like the way Newcastle play, but I don't believe they will keep it for much longer. This isn't a slant on anything howes done it's merely a question that has crossed my mind because he's not managed at this level and will learn just like any other.
So you think he will or he won't change it ? I'm really trying hard to get an answer to a very simple question here. There's no right or wrong answer yet.
You're missing the point, it's Eddie's style of play that caused all of those injuries because we ran the other teams ragged.
I don't think he will - but what we will have is a far deeper squad which will better cover rotation and hence (hopefully), fewer injuries
Fair enough we can have different opinions at the end of the day. Nobody is right or wrong yet it's merely a topic of discussion.
None of the good clubs topping the list...perhaps these clubs will make changes to training and sports scientists might review things.
Also too many games because UEFA and FIFA aren’t fit for purpose. Like even remotely, those two organisations are an absolute ****ing joke.
Aren't the demands on the players just higher? The training, the matches ? It's all pushing these people further, faster and harder striving to compete with others doing just the same. There's only so much people can take.
I was referring to the clubs like City arsenal Liverpool and tbh even Aston Villa who seem to be managing the extra games well.
