Which happens when you are getting no service
It also happens if you're getting marked out of the game. Him being up top alone most of the time meant the defenders job was easy.

Lovren got one too didn't he? Goals all round have been a problem this year. Needs to be addressed, although not sure why we can't score more right now....poor set plays every time...drives me mad, may as well just give them the ball and get on with the game!!

Been annoying me for years with last year being the exception
With CBs like Skrtel, Sakho, Lovren and Toure in the side, we should be scoring more set-piece goals IMO

Skerts used to cause havoc with his near post runs.....now we're lucky if the delivery is above knee height!
Sturridge has struggled for a number of reasons:
a) Still finding his feet after a long lay off - could be mental or physical
b) Isolated up top without a partner
c) No Suarez
d) Overhyped

That or the lino on the other side of the pitch gets a volley!
We need to change the rules so we can bring on a 'Kicker' for frees, like American football.

No one has had any practice taking corners for us in the last 5 years because Gerrard has taken them all... only this year is the chance others are getting to take them!
Talking of corners, still drives me crazy how we bring all players back to defend corners and just allow teams to come back at us when we've cleared

No one has had any practice taking corners for us in the last 5 years because Gerrard has taken them all... only this year is the chance others are getting to take them!
