Hi guys, I just wanted to know what your feelings are about this? It's probably a load of rubbish but you never know :p

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/256023/Liverpool-plotting-15m-move-for-Daniel-Sturridge/

Just wanted to ask a few questions -

- With all your new signings coming in, would you be willing to let him go?
- Would you be happy with the 15m bid that we're supposedly going to make?
- And as a player, what do you make of him and do you think he has a lot of potential?

I'm interested to hear your views on this, thanks.

Wigger.

1) Yes
2) Definitely Yes (£15m)
3) Incredibly selfish, will go for goal rather than pass to teammates, even when they are in better positions, needs to play CF not right-wing, good potential, but I see Lukaku being better.

Thanks for your feedback. I've heard from an awful lot of you about him being selfish, you say about him playing CF which I think if e came he would as Suarez would play on the right.

I'd love for us to sign him though.

Good luck next season <ok>

He would be better suited to the RHS of CF, can Suarez play on the LHS or has he always preferred it when he is on his own? One thing you will be guaranteed, is given a half-decent chance, he will slot it away whereas Carroll will miss...<nahnah>(just joking!)

That's more than likely true though <laugh> Suarez plays better on the right, he can play CF but needs the support around him. I prefer it when he's played on the left and he cuts in and stuff as opposed to when he plays the CF role.

He seems to get a bit of stick from your fans but I think he's a top player with great potential.

I've seen games where he is "selfish" but thought he just had his head down other than purposly not passing the ball. I hope this one is true.

I agree. I haven't seen much of Lukaku but when I have he hasn't been that great. Maybe this is down to not having enough game time? I don't know ...

If I am brutally honest, I am a much bigger fan of Lukaku. Sturridge wouldn't be a real loss. He's talent, but unrefined.

I think we should take an offer of £15m, but I wonder about the scource of the story! Daily Star --good for tits , not so hot on footy scoops!

I hope we keep him. He is selfish but that is largely as a result of being a centre forward being played on the wings.

For me, he needs to be back up striker to Torres next year and will see plenty of games in his real position.

I wouldn't be too pissed off if he went IF, he wasn't English. We need to keep our quota but he needs a MASSIVE kick up the arse. He's nearly 23 now so he's not a youngster anymore. He needs to learn and learn quickly!

On Lukaku, before the England - Belgium game I was listening to Five Live.

They interviewed a coach within the international set up, who was apparently some great shakes within the Belgian game.

When asked if Lukaku had great talent, or if he would make it, he simply said 'no' - and that's all.

Colin Murray and so on were speechless.

Agree totally. I think it's a little unfair to judge him when he hasn't even played in his prefered position. If we are going for a system with Torres as the focus then we need a backup who can play in a similar way too.
