Sturridge....Whats the chances?

    no I think it's because of the price of the player... our lot would only pay 5-6 million.

    I think he'd do well but think it's unlikely. I can see us having a net spend of zero come the end of the transfer window sadly. If Jose and Joey leave then that money will be used for replacements = no expenditure. If they don't go we'll probably only sign a couple of cheapies and probably sell the likes of Best and Guthrie to balance the cost = no expenditure.

    I hope I'm wrong.

    Chelsea won't sell him for anything less than about 20mill, so a season-long loan will be great.

    Sky Sports - Speculation:
    According to reports in the Evening Chronicle, Newcastle United are not about to enter the race to sign Chelsea striker Daniel Sturridge. The England Under 21 international is wanted back at Bolton after impressing on loan at the Reebok Stadium last season, while Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion are also rumoured to want Sturridge.
