He has played a lot of matches in the Championship, a lot in league 1, and 14 in the premiership, sounds like another good signing. He is 28 years old and described as a battling midfielder.
I will give him my support - but ( keeping things in perspective ) -lets not forget that he was with Plymouth last season ( relegated and well beaten by Gills )
We had him on loan from Cardiff during the 2017/18 season. He made 21 appearances for us in central midfield, and at times looked an excellent player, but then seemed to fade out of games. Reckon he could still do a good job for your team
ok - but for only the last 9 minutes ( we were already 1-3 down by then ) It actually gets worse --- of the 11 games in which O' Keefe participated for Plymouth ( mainly as sub, or often taken off ), Plymouth lost 7. They did win 3, of which one was against Gills (coming on in the 81st minute when the score was 3-1 ). One was against Fleetwood - where O'Keefe came on as a 92 minute sub - to waste time ! The 3rd win was 1-0 against AFC Wimbledon ( who had 2 players sent off - hardly convincing ).
