To be fair to Matt, usually he has to lump it up the pitch because there is nobody showing for him. Our midfield was so lazy with Wellens and King.

EDIT; Also I was being tongue in cheek, he's not a 'ball playing centre half' but he's not as bad as people make him out to be.

John Sjoberg, Graham Cross, Jeff Blockley, Larry May, John O'Neil, Russell Osman, Matt Elliot, Phil Gilchrist, Jack Hobbs .. even Walshy was a lot more accurate ...

Having said that, this is the only element of his game that needs improving and whilst I'd probably just side with Bamba currently, there is no way I would drop Mills until we either concede in a couple of games due to him directly or he gets injured...

I would probably go for (assuming they are all fit and available etc)
    Schmeichel
    Peltier
    Mills
    Bamba
    Konchesky
    Gallagher
    Drinkwater
    Wellens
    Dyer
    Beckford
    Nuge

At the moment I would still have SSL in for Bamba as he is playing well plus Sol will need a rest after the ACoN, if Beckford is struggling then in comes Delfouneso. Marshall will come in in time
