I feel his best position is in centre mid and he loses out to the victor (ball winner) and ki (creative midfielder). Which gives a nice balance. Me and big jock both agree you dont put square pegs in round holes. Ideally celtic should strengthen this area as wilson and rogne still don't convice me and will be found out in europe.
Eric, I would have full confidence in Rogne, apart from his inability to remain fit. He may be better at staying fit this year as he is still very young and sometimes young tall players are troubled with muscles and hamstrings. Wilson too may prove to be a good centre half. When we signed him last summer he had not been playing any for over 6 months and he got injured pre-season, so he did not have a proper pre-season. After every few games last season he broke down with injury again and I think that we may just see a hell of a better player this season. He certainly has a bit of pace for a centre half.
