Apart from the fact they were the ones approached by the interested parties in the first place. I would imagine if it's one of those who are buying us (and that's how it would seem) they would know.

Of course, you could believe the same information coming from anyone who has any chance of knowing what's going on, or you could be paranoid and think it's Bates with a tea towel on his head.
 
I think that LUST are just hopeful fans getting carried away & guessing, I hope your right & I am been too cynical...

But on balance of probability I know what I suspect from... Rich Investor vs. Accounting Trickery...

The prospective purchasers are not the same as the current board. LUST have to maintain their credibility with over 6000 lufc fans now. I hardly think they're getting giddy and making stuff up.
 
Trust: we know there people interested, we have spoken to 3 groups. We don't know how many are talking to the club right now.

Sorry it sounds to me like fans are getting carried away by the POWER of LUST - They haven't a clue who is speaking to the club

Two completely separate things. Communication with people who want to buy the club is not communication with our current board. Of course the fact it's the same thing being said by the BBC, the YEP and the YP is clearly irrelevant to you in this situation.

Says LUST in their press releases. Said they released the vision statement and were contacted by several parties. They showed a presentation to those various groups and some of them were persuaded to get a bid together.

They're hardly going to gamble their credibility on fabricating a transfer bid when it's been confirmed by the club since LUST broke the story and Bates has imposed silence on himself for the first time in years.

Of course they know more than you or me.

I totally fail to understand, when faced with a lot of extremely positive information from numerous well-placed sources, people are still trying to pour cold water over this. I understand years of frustration under Bates, but come on, look at the evidence, lighten up and enjoy what is going to be a very interesting Summer, probably starting on Sunday/Monday
 
What evidence?

The problem is there is no FLAMING evidence..

The BBC are quoting LUST

LUST "believes the potential investment in the club could happen next week, with the money coming from the Middle East"

YEP & Phil Hay seem to follow Twitter

Bates has form in seeing the club change ownership without him stepping down & the official club site is only talking about "investment" & has not mentioned any form of takeover...

Keep your feet on the ground...

Hopefully a takeover will happen but it is by no means a done deal...

I don't want to be right, but I do not think we will see Ken Bates leave the club in the next year.
