Just a personal viewpoint but I wouldn't watch the Olympics if they were taking place in my back garden. Waste of money. I can't be arsed to research it but what's the ruling about footballers? Have to be under 25 or something stupid. Does that apply to any other sport ? Crock of steaming dog cack the lot of it.
The rest of the sports I think they're supposed to be amateurs but the football is U23s with 3 overage players allowed in the squad. The boxing is certainly amateur, but I'm not exactly expecting to see Usain Bolt working in JJB so he can pay his bills any time soon either.
