It is pay on the gate and there's still tomorrow's sales, but it's not going to jump from 600 to 2-3,000, we should top 1,000, but I doubt we'll get anywhere near 2,000(not unless the woman in the ticket office is talking out her arse and we've already sold double the amount she thinks).
barely just managed 2 for leeds and donny didnt we...hopefully that will come towards the end of the season if we are still going strong..
God knows how they would cope at a stadium with a proper atmosphere like in this video. Give it a minute as the fun starts there. An all-seater stadium as well and no roofs which gives the lie to the claim about how the high roofs lets the noise drift out being given as a reason why the KC is quiet. It is because not enough sing or get involved. Trouble is we've too many of the flask and rugs brigade who think everyone should remain seated at all times to ever get an atmosphere like this. This game was a friendly BTW.
could this be due to the search situation ? OK OK, all things considered i may have been overly optimistic on this one. looks like Middlesboro away on Boxing Day is gonna be a massive support. I know of people who never do away games who are going to this one. This game will be a corker as Mowbrays teams always play good open football.
What a load of **** that is , and what a waste of money the olympics are when we've got better things to spend money on
Seeing as it is an all-seater stadium (see link) I would say not. http://www.stadia.gr/harilaou/harilaou.html Anymore irrelevant observations to make?
Sorry, pal. I didn't check the ground (as you have just revealed on the link) but, as per the clip, it appeared all were standing and swaying, and it also looked as if there were more spectators than seating would hold. And so, my sweet little rice pudding, you are correct and I am wrong.
They were indeed all standing.Just shows what can be done even in an all-seater stadium given the right fans and stewarding. the atmosphere in a stadium smaller than ours is fantastic.Which would rule it out at the KC on both counts. What I like is the way their equivalent of the West Stand is just as full of flares and paper streamers. A bit old for and decrepit myself all that dancing and swaying but would love to see others doing it at our games.
Don't be a twat. That's the most typical boring English comment that could possibly be made at this point.
Yeah, it's much more important that we have some fancy fireworks display and some athletics in London than try to keep people employed.
they had better not try the cough and drop ? will they stop and search all Hull City fans leaving the ground after the mighty Tigers steal the 3 points ?
It just seems like the country are desperate to complain about anything. Waiting for a reason to moan about the olympics and talk about what it has cost us, or what Wembley cost to rebuild or just moan generally. We've got a world-class sporting event in London, any other country would see it as a really good thing.
remeber when they were selling it? Could be events in Hull? Olympic pool! Bollocks its all about money for those ****s down south. Going over budget, lining ****s pockets more like. London or Toyko or Mexico couldnt give a fuk not watched it since 84 full of drug using cheats apart from the ladies volleyball obviously.
I don't remember Greece being that impressed either. It's brilliant for London. They get a load of Olympic tourists turn up for a few weeks paying ridiculous prices and then going home again. The rest of the country gets ****ed over though because all the regular tourists, especially long haul tourists tend to come to London first, then do Edinburgh, York, and other big places in the country afterwards. They're all avoiding the UK next summer because they expect London to be too crowded and expensive for them, there's something like a 90% drop in Americans coming over next year compared to this (I'm sure it was American firms that were on the news the other week). Repeat that rate over the other non-European tourists and it soon adds up.
