So the government where furious with the way that P&0 treat and got rid of staff .Banged on about paying them a fair wage with good conditions
Political stunt ?
They then want to destroy the pay and conditions of the rail workers and cut jobs whilst turning the. Public against them.
Hypocrisy.
All this at the same time as championing a high wage economy .
Ooh and as a side they have whilst in the midst of this want to lift restrictions for CEOs in the City to be able be paid more and take away some of the rules for mortgage eligibility !

Unions are scum. The people that support them tend to be bone idle lazy ****s who are hell bent on doing as little as possible and getting away with as much as possible.

These union leaders who are all for you. Go and have a look at one of their houses. Once you do the 5 minute walk up their driveway. They're laughing at you thick ****s.

Let them strike, let them starve when they don't get paid. I'll be waiting for the charity pot to come round for Archers, when his fuel bill comes in. :cheesy:

Maybe someone should set up a just giving account for my old mate or do they still get assistance from the Russians with food parcels these days? . ;)

Oh mate, we wouldn't have hazel nut choc chip cookies if there was a union...

You would have instead...

Choc chip cookies
OR
Hazelnut cookies

But mixing the two you say?....right, that's it, everyone out, put down your tools, the company is trying to merge two jobs into one.

<whistle>

The idea of a union is important and if you are genuinly having a problem that's not your fault then they can offer important help. I also have to agree with the negativity about them, in my job the name calling above is correct they are all just out there for themselves and will complain and moan about having to do their job.

The Criminal Barristers are going on strike over the fact they are not being paid enough for the legal aid work .
Had to laugh though as this came up on the news "ticker tape" bit at the bottom of the screen as it came up as
" The CBA have called strike action from 1/7/24" <laugh>

There'd have been a pay and working conditions walk out and the Union members would have gone home.

As we move away from fossil fuels towards greener energy, all I can say is thank you Maggie, without her we would have still been in the dark ages today. The marvelous woman had the foresight to give them all a good slapping and say, we WILL close the mines.

Today history is repeating itself, as we move towards a greener future, stay strong people, we can defeat these union knuckle draggers from bygone times.

It's a big give away for a working class guy 2 go for his maggie card whilst on a wind up.......a true toff who the Conservative party work for wouldn't even have the time to argue sides because they are enjoying the best of things in life instead
