Check out Dolores - I don't know any train drivers who are 70-something Nadine Dorries look-a-likees that would pass any drugs and alcohol screening. That's our money as taxpayers that the DfT and CCHQ are spaffing on these fake accounts as well.
Union members so desperate their trawling twitter for disinformation. That's ok lads, the poor know you are screwing them over at Christmas, especially those that can least afford it and want to go to their families instead, don't own cars, now you've cancelled their trains....maybe you should just get your lazy fooking arses back to work and we can forget about all this ****ty behaviour of yours.
We were heroes two years ago for keeping the country running while the briefcase ****ers worked from home. Meanwhile, Boris cancelled Christmas but the Mail readers weren’t whining then.
Still look at this way Bobby, while the poor are suffering, all the RMT/ASLEF (whatever) members get an extended Christmas break, what a coincidence eh
So if the unions are worried about disinformation and the Tories, they must think the public are turning against them, and that the unions are running out of excuses for their ****ty behaviour. Hmmm.... I wonder why, but obviously they are NOT striking because of drivers no sireeeee, they are striking for all the lesser paid workers remember......
Unions expected the fight would get bitter, but let's get something straight - the rail unions are already being set up as the anti-nurse baddies. It's comical - there's already dildos all over social media talking about an 8% pay offer (it isn't it's 4% four two years running) and MASSIVE job cuts with compulsory redundancies. None of this, if it came to fruition, would mean a drop in subsidies to train operating companies that paid out £800m in dividends and director bonuses during the pandemic. So no, the RMT (median wage £31k) will not accept that from robber barons and a robber baron, deeply, inherently corrupt government. The fight goes on.
And I hardly ever post on GC. You must have me mixed up with somebody else. I rarely post on this Prem board after the Paris final either.
You keep fighting bro, it don't bother me, as I said at the beginning of the first strike this will end badly for you imho. Don't try and hide this behind nurses now either with what the railways are doing over Xmas.....as I said at least they get Christmas off the poor souls.
Makes me laugh reading Donga's comment actually, so because the Tories are corrupt, it gives the Unions the right to screw the poor over during Christmas, it's just the irony of it. We've got more money than you and you are below us, so fook you. Tory to Union....Union to poor families but it makes it ok because of the barons or something.
I do have a tweet to respond to that, but I'd better not risk that even though it explains this more thoroughly - the network closes down anyway early evening Christmas Eve, and doesn't open back up till mid-morning on 27th Dec. The network is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day every year (except in Scotland). despite the Daily Mail hysteria being fermented, the poor will not be affected by the scheduled engineering works not occurring on those days, but the private engineering, outsourced companies involved will probably still get paid for it (especially if they donate to the Tory Party as most of the TOC's do).
