I thought cisse was decent enough... not great and not Torres or Suarez level but did his job ok
    .

His main problem was he worked harder on his hair than his shooting.

I think Borini will still be here next season, on another thread I think some people think he will leave because they would sell him if they were in BR's shoes.

The thing with Borini is he is unfortunate with being injured for so long throughout his first season here.

The way he plays suits the system, his movement and work rate is good. He needs more time, next season he is further down the pecking order so there is less pressure on him.

I don't think he will ever be prolific for us but he could be similar to Kuyt who tracked back a lot and worked his socks off for the team. I think it will pay off.

Gerrez, indeed... and there are times you need a player like that... just not every game.

Zingy, yeah... Borini will still be with us next year and I suspect he will continue to flop.

He does try hard... I will hive him that... don't dislike the fella just wish he were better...

I think we both agree that you turn out wrong.

However, if we were in for another natural goalscorer I would happily replace him.

If he stays, I would like to see him play as Kuyt did. Has a good engine like Kuyt, good movement and unlike Kuyt a good first touch.

Borini is only young, he has decent pace and his main attribute seems to be his movement off the ball which helps open up spaces for other players. You saw the Arsenal v Spurs game and Bale's goal was all down to Adebayor's movement (as well as Arsenal's crap defending). He dragged the CB's out of the way leaving a big gap for Bale to move into. That's the sort of thing Borini does and if he doesn't get played in then it leaves gaps for others to exploit.

He was playing in the team when we weren't playing well and were trying to adjust to a new system so was never going to light up the Prem straight away but now we are settling into a way if playing, a way which he knows and can adapt to, I think he'll be a decent player next year.

Can easily see him Sturridge & Saurez getting into double figures in the Prem next year which would give us a decent strike force when you then add Coutinho & Sterling to that then the forward line is starting to take shape.

He made a great icon though. I remember when he got fouled and he was facing the home fans, he had his back to the referee and he was like waving his hands so the fans would make more noise.
