Hughes won't play Adel and Buz in the same side, gotta play 1 holding midfielder so it looks like that useless git Barton. It will be interesting to see if Buz keeps playing well, what will happen when Adel returns.

why not? he obv favours 4-4-2 so if he puts tarbs in behind HH then theres still room for barton and buz in centre mid.... having said that tho i still think we need a proven premier league goal scorer to come in! which takes us back to the original question lol

I like to see that too Col, though as Hammersmith says I am not sure Marc will play both Buz and Adel. Love to see it!

I think both Mackie and SWP should have scored more. Agree with what you say Elnino that sometimes Mackie looks more like a striker than right midfield, but prefer HH there. With Traore back playing LM, Taiwo at LB, I'd also prefer SWP on the right midfield and Mackie on the bench raring to play!

But for me we have a big problem in central midfield now! If Adel is playing up front, Ale out, we have only Barton, Buz, Derry and PVM in the list I find on the Official who look like central midfield players to me. We don't have many options there when I don't reckon PVM is good enough for the PL (or C) and Derry's legs aren't up to many games. Think this area is our big priority!

No chance I know but I'd love it if we could sign Clint Dempsey.

hugo rodallega would be great as we cant seem to attract anybody else, also michael johnson from man city was once touted as a top player he is stuck in the reserves he may do a job for us,were in need of a midfielder.need scouting network to find some players from europe who arent in the prem at inflated prices 24 days into the window and we have two loan players who arent ours one of which is a donkey the other will attract all the top clubs during his loan spell and join a top four team in the summer.im trying to be positive but this transfer window is getting me down sorry lads!

So has smith in a lot less game time. Mackie is not a striker in a million years. This is never the answer. Would be better off with adel up top off the front man.

Michael Johnson is now an average player at Leicester, therefore not wanting to sign him

Hooper from Chelsea should be the first target for us! Second opinion should be that rhodes bloke. After we have a solid defence and good midfield (with great signings?) those Hooper or Rhoades should do the tick upstaairs

    This

I don't think we absolutely need a new stricker. Bootsy and DJ are adequate for a club of our size at the moment. So many people on this site talk about us needing to buy a 20 goal a year stricker. I laugh at this. It is really naive. How many 20 goals a year strickers are there in the Prem? or in world football? The reality is that there are prob 3-4 top strickers in this division who can consistently score 20 goals a season and they are all with the top top clubs. We will never be able to afford one of these players and they would not come to us anyway. The only exception to this is Darren Bent. he has scored consistently at every club he has played for. But could we afford the 15million to buy him? The best we can hope for is a stricker who can score 10-12 goals a season. Guess what, we already have him. DJ is the man. he has been injured and has not had a run of games. The vast majority of the forwards we have been linked with are no better than DJ. He deserves a run of 10 odd games to prove himself. Be realistic and please no more rubbish talk about 20 goals a year forwards.

I know this is probably really stupid but as Tuesday draws near and Tevez faces another 4 months marginalised, more millions in fines and no prospect of playing...........

Desperate times sometimes produce unusual solutions?

I know, I know, keep taking the tablets.....

Most people seem to be assuming that MH will play Traore left mid. I would like to see this, but I'm not at all convinced that MH will do it, as he could see it as too much of a gamble as Traore is thought of as a left back!

Would love Rhodes, but that's not the QPR way, when have we ever brought in a sought after youngster?

We'll bring in two forwards. ZAMORA and TEVEZ.

How? How do you put Tarbs, Joey and Buz together?
    :emoticon-0175-drunk:emoticon-0138-think
Would that mean that Tarbs is the 2nd striker?
