I still say you'll end up with Defoe. We're going after Leandro (from a club who we have a tie-up with). I would say "I hope he scores more goals than last season" but as he only scored about 4 goals last season, that really wouldn't be asking very much.
Could be an interesting buy then, at least he has experience of winning something major and is already performing at close to his peak. Although i still think if its feasible then Benzema should yield priority.
Exactly. If we buy Benzema he could join us with the mentality of having failed at Real Madrid. I know that's nonsense in reality when you look at players such as Eto'o, Sneijder and Robben but with Falcao you have a man who's breaking records left right and centre. Also, I think you would be able to play RVP and Falcao together better than RVP and Benzema.
