Rochdale striker Anthony Elding set for medical with Argyle....didn't he play in a friendly recently, if so was he impressive?

Doesnt want to sign for personal reasons! Saw the **** going on at the club? Spoke to a couple of players who havent been paid since November? Heard that the new owner doesn't even know who actually owns the club? Wanted to know if the club were even going to be in existence for the opening game of the season? Take your pick, but he isn't the first and won't be the last to look at our shower of **** and go, "Nah thanks".

 

Good didn't like the look of him anyway, bit on the dodgy side.

 

To be fair to the lad if you were still in contract with a League one outfit, paying you on time and you had the option of joining a club in administration, a league below with no guarantee of payment in the short term...I think you'd want to sleep on it. He has rejected the offer so nevermind.

On a brighter note - I heard Sims played well.

 

The whole side played pretty well in the QPR match hp. It really was quite encouraging watching them and they did actually play football. Ok so not all of them are going to sign up I suppose but if this is the example of the quality Reid is digging up to look at and they are coming to give us a look see then to me it is looking relatively rosy in that department. I would have been quite happy to see the last line up playing in the league on day one. I was a little surprised at what was on show to be honest as I did not have a clue what to expect.

 

Well from what I have read Reid is interested in the Argie who played on the left. He also had praise for Sims and Daley. If we can get one more striker we would be set. COYG!
