Ok guys
All the talk of at the moment is how much we need a Left winger and a striker but if we could only have one or the other which would you choose.

For me it would be a striker that would get us 15 to 20 goals

P.S My wife has gone to get tickets for the Burnley game so my season starts tommorrow

LW for me Mitch. If we had one that could ping crosses in all day long I'm sure we have enough up top to put a few of them away.

Left Wing for me without a shadow of a doubt.

Gyan will score between 15-20 goals this season, and Sess as a striker will bag 10-15. With Wickham and Dong chipping in with a few, Larsson and Gardner with a few I am not worried about scoring.

It's stopping the ****ing opposition from scoring I'm worried about......

Winger for me too, I think we have enough quality up-front to score plenty of goals and an attacking winger would only add to the chances created for them to be put away. I still reckon Richardson is going to be given the left wing role initially and it's make or break time for him.

Striker for me.....44 or 45 goals last season, say's it all.

commachio - We may have scored that many goals but around three quarters of them were scored by our forwards I believe - the rest of the team scored next to none - so LW for me

Or ex forwards that havn't been replaced.

True - although we scored only 19 goals in 15 games after Bent left and Sessegnon, Gyan, Henderson and Bardsley scored majority of these I believe - and we have replaced bent with Sessegnon if you lok at how the team sets up. All about opinions but I think we need a left mid more than a striker as if we sign ourselves a new man for 10m then what happens to Gyan and Sessegnon's partnership as I believe this will be key for the season!! (glad I'm not Steve Bruce at the moment!!)
