We should keep Poppies out of football grounds? Why?

I'll tell you what, you do that over in Ireland, but over here in civilisation, we like to remember those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.

    Poor, wee, Political Poppy <wah>

Supermong, call me slow, but I don't get your picture, but if you squint at it, the net looks like a big stingray.

because Dr John Reid asked the Celtic support to leave their "politics at the door" and then introduced a political symbol onto the club jersey"

and you are better qualified to comment on this than me because.........

I live in the United Kingdom, Celtic Park is in the United Kingdom. British Troops were deployed within the United Kingdom on live military operations against fellow UK citizens. You can't deploy your army to the north of Ireland then tell me I have no right to voice my opinion about your army in Scotland <doh>

To be honest you alone would probably be my poster boy in the 'This is why I can't possibly support the Poppy Appeal, because the British army keep employing thick small minded ****s' campaign <laugh>

I wasn't referring to your inferior club. I was referring to BRITISH football grounds in general. We all know there would be no money going in the collection pots at Celtic Park. An Irish club, masquerading as being Scottish. Before you, Hibs were doing just fine, then when your Republican bandwagon came along, it all went wrong. I believe there is a plaque in Ireland dedicated to the crew of the U-Boat. Was on a documentary the other day. So no shockeroonie that the Poppy isn't welcome at Celtic Park.

I'm better qualified because I've heard it first hand along with the many other 1000s, you blundering buffoon.

My army in Scotland? What Scottish Army? <doh>

You do know that amongst the Scottish Regiments, there are a lot of Celtic supporters, 100s of them. That's just the Scottish Regiments, nevermind the Corps? Some of my Celtic-supporting colleagues don't even feel comfortable in Celtic Park anymore, especially around Rememberance Sunday as they get threatened by all you hardmen <ok><doh>

I never brought Celtic into this conversation you did. We've got a mixed set of supporters from different backgrounds so we should try leave all politics at the door.

Why does EVERY other footaball club in Great Britain allow Poppy collection tins outside and inside barring Celtic Park?

Aye, so I see at Celtic Park when the Palestinian flags are all the rage <laugh>

Where in Glasgow is Palestine exactly?

Oh, let me guess, you see yourselves as "Brothers In Oppression"?

Mixed set of supporters? Don't be ridiculous, Celtic are the Catholic club and Rangers are the Protestant club, ok you get a few wierdos who are Catholic that support Rangers and the odd wierdo who is Prod and supports Celtic, but to try and paint it any other way is quite frankly daft/naive.
