oh and finally... rugby has a citing code where the team (in this case newcastle) can cite a player for such actions. The citing officer's JOB for every match is to watch for just such incidents as well.... if both teams and the citing officer miss something when everyon ecan report they got gouged, stamped punched bit etc then obviosuly nothing happened. In football we have a crazy situation where the victims are punished for speaking out against a terrible decision. not only was a player assaulted but the decision decided the game as well.
