Me and the Missus have just come back from a weekend in London, we went up to see my grandson (and his parents
) So anyway on Saturday evening we are looking at going out for a nosebag, this means we have to find a restaurant/gastropub that was child friendly, my son told me that there was one in the High Rd that was supposed to be very good. We walked down to it and went in the back way through the beer garden, and settled down to eat, the beer was flat, horrible and expensive, we had to wait ages to get served and when the food eventually turned up as well as not being very good it was nearly cold. I was going to complain, but my Missus didn't want a fuss, as she said we wouldn't be going there again, my son said lets just drink up and call in another pub on the way back to his flat, no food, but a tidy beer garden.
This place was, over hyped, over priced and the product wasn't any good, we left the pub by the front door, and I noticed the name of the place
THE LIBERTY
