Well its all a matter of perception , I have travelled all over the world in my previous job, and been to some great places, but when you are a football player you are doing a full time job, and one training pitch is pretty much the same as the next one, they are paid rather well, if they want to go to other places there are always options, at the end of the day I don't think Ash will be interested in QPR just because its London
Apparently it was Neil Taylor who asked for permission to speak to Newcastle, so sounds like he's at least a little interested. BR thinks there shouldn't be any sentiment. Well that goes for players as well. They are there to do a job and if they can get paid more elsewhere, then good luck to them. In all honesty, how many on here would turn down the chance of tripling their wages. I know life isn't all about money, but getting those sort of wages early on can set you up for the rest of your life.

yea shame about pratters. Could have been important to us in the Prem. Does mean we can sign someone new though. Well the news has sort of broken in that it's been denied and HJ has said very strongly that it won't be accepted or considered. The noises coming out are the right ones! Roll on the new season I say.
