Well its all a matter of perception , I have travelled all over the world in my previous job, and been to some great places, but when you are a football player you are doing a full time job, and one training pitch is pretty much the same as the next one, they are paid rather well, if they want to go to other places there are always options, at the end of the day I don't think Ash will be interested in QPR just because its London

Apparently it was Neil Taylor who asked for permission to speak to Newcastle, so sounds like he's at least a little interested.

BR thinks there shouldn't be any sentiment. Well that goes for players as well. They are there to do a job and if they can get paid more elsewhere, then good luck to them. In all honesty, how many on here would turn down the chance of tripling their wages. I know life isn't all about money, but getting those sort of wages early on can set you up for the rest of your life.

I just read it now!!!!!! Waaaaaay behind lol.

Guess your right Bangkok. Ash won't be leaving, that's for sure. If Neil goes, good luck to him. Just think it would be sad seeing as he hasn't given us a chance in the PL and goes to show that a modern footballer has no loyalty, and it's all about money.

yea shame about pratters. Could have been important to us in the Prem.
Does mean we can sign someone new though. Thats always exciting...Or it paves the way for Boddes to slot back into the starting 18 or whatever it is.
And shame about Neil if he does leave.
He's well like here, but It seems he's going. The silence from his is exactly the same silence Martinez gave when Wigan came calling..

On that note, anyone seen the Villa interest! But dave whelan is saying,no I don't think Martinez will go. He never lets me down....
I wonder if Huw thought this aswell. haha

To be fair, they do seem to have a very good working relationship

Well the news has sort of broken in that it's been denied and HJ has said very strongly that it won't be accepted or considered. The noises coming out are the right ones! Roll on the new season I say.
